Stable Thinking

91 Tinson Rd Baldivis WA 6171

At Stable Thinking, we value your time and our horses’ wellbeing. To help us provide the best experience for all riders, please read our booking and cancellation terms below.

Bookings & Payments

To secure your lesson booking, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival before your lesson, via cash or bank transfer. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

24 hours’ notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling a lesson. Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the start time or no-shows will incur a 100% lesson charge. If a payment balance is outstanding after a late cancellation or no-show, it must be paid before any new bookings can be made.

EXTREME WEATHER POLICY

Rider safety and horse welfare are our top priority.  In cases of extreme weather (e.g., severe heat, storms, lightning), Stable Thinking may reschedule lessons, with as much notice as possible. If we are unable to find a suitable new time, deposits will be refunded in full.

If we just have showers, the ride will still go out so please be sure to bring some wet weather gear.

If we have committed to the lesson and extreme weather does pass over we will dismount and continue the lesson in the tack room. The lesson will become a theory lesson, the students will learn about tack and anatomy as well as other topics. Please note this occurrence happens very rarely however these lessons are equally as important to the developing rider, no refunds will be given.

What to Wear

To ensure rider safety and comfort:

Long pants are required – suitable options include track pants, leggings, tights, or jeans.

Enclosed footwear is required. While not essential, smooth soles with a small heel are recommended for riding.

Helmets are provided by Stable Thinking for all riders.

For those planning to ride long-term, we recommend investing in proper horse riding boots for comfort and safety.

Don’t forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

WEIGHT LIMITS

Unfortunately due to being limited by horse breed & age, we are unable to cater to weights exceeding 80 kgs. We hope in the near future to expand our herd to be able to accomodate more riders.

We hope you enjoy your ride.
